WCC (Women Chemist)
The Women Chemists Committee serves the membership of the American Chemical Society. Our mission is to attract, retain, develop, promote, and advocate for women to positively impact diversity, equity and inclusion in the Society and the profession. There are four goals designed to fulfill the mission statement:
Senior Chemists
The role of the NJACS Senior Chemists Committee is to promote the interests of its silver circle members. A “silver” member is one who has valuable experience and knowledge, whether or not that person is retired.
Diversity, Equity, Accessibility, Inclusion (DEAI)
A Groupsite for North Jersey American Chemical Society Minority Affairs Group has been set up, powered by CollectiveX and combining the best features of forums, calendars, email lists, and social networks.
YCC (Younger Chemist)
The role of the NJACS Younger Chemists Committee is to promote the interests of members under the age of 35 (or close to that age).It provides graduate students, post-doctoral chemists, and young professionals with the opportunity to interact with other chemists in the section, to help them better direct their careers, and to increase their involvement in the ACS.
Teacher Affiliates
ChemTAG, the Chemistry Teacher Affiliates Group of NJACS, is a discussion group of area elementary & high school chemistry teachers who gather periodically for sharing ideas and networking.
