During National Chemistry Week, North Jersey ACS partners with Liberty Science Center to present ChemExpo. The event has run for 25+ years and has brought local colleges, universities, and high schools to LSC to present their theme-related demonstrations. Delighted children, enthusiastic chemistry students, local industries, and NJACS volunteers come together annually to share and learn about the amazing nature of chemistry.
In tandem with ChemExpo, NJACS also hosts a National Chemistry Week Illustrated Poetry Contest. The NJACS entries are usually due around Halloween. More general information can be found at the ACS National website.
