The New Jersey Chemistry Olympics (NJCO)
The New Jersey Chemistry Olympics is a dual effort of NJIT and the North Jersey Section – American Chemical Society. At this scientific competition, students have the opportunity to innovate and show their strengths in a supportive environment, with chemistry as a uniting thread. It is open to all private and public high schools as well as organized clubs from informal educational institutions in and around the North Jersey area, including all parts of New Jersey and adjacent areas of Pennsylvania and New York. The New Jersey Chemistry Olympics has been honored with an American Chemical Society Salute to Excellence award as well as a 2022 ACS Chemluminary award.
