Apr 26, 2013 – 65th Annual NJ-ACS Undergraduate Research Conference

The 65th Annual Undergraduate Research Conference took place on Friday, April 26, 2013. The conference provided an opportunity for talented undergraduate students in the North Jersey Section to give an oral presentation on their research results. All undergraduate students in the North Jersey Section are invited to participate in this very rewarding annual event.

The research presentations are judged by local chemists working in industry or academia and the student giving the best presentation is given the Jean Asell Duranna Award. In addition the top three presenters are awarded cash prizes. The student award winners and their advisors were then be invited to attend the No. Jersey Sectionʼs Annual Awards Dinner on Tuesday, May 14, 2013 in Lenfell Hall at Fairleigh Dickinson University, College at Florham, 285 Madison Avenue, Madison, NJ 07940 [ directions ].

Abstract Submission Guidelines:

Clearly indicate the title of the presentation and all authors. An abstract must be no more than 200 words and needs to be submitted as a Word document attached to an email to Dr. Nina Goodey (goodeyn@mail.montclair.edu). The deadline for abstracts was April 19, 2013.
